Did you know that the iconic and bittersweet moments between Denji and Reze actually took place in real locations in Tokyo? Most of the scenes in the Reze Arc are modeled after the beautiful, retro streets around Ochanomizu Station in Chiyoda City.
We've created the perfect walking route for your anime pilgrimage. You can visit all these spots in just a few hours!

Spot 1: The Telephone Booth in the Rain (Catholic Kanda Church)
This is where it all began! Denji was taking shelter from the rain in a telephone booth when Reze suddenly jumped in. The model for this exact spot is the phone booth located right in front of the Catholic Kanda Church.

Spot 2: The Iconic Stairs (Onnazaka / Women's Slope)

Spot 3: The Path to the Cafe (Aoi Building)
Just before you reach the Onnazaka stairs, you will pass by a building. In the series, it is slightly altered and named the "Midori Building," but its real-life counterpart is the Aoi Building in Kanda Sarugakucho. You can retrace the exact steps Reze took on her way to work.

Spot 4: Reze's Workplace (Cafe Nidou Models)
Reze worked at a charming retro cafe called "Nidou." Fans have discovered that the exterior and the alleyway vibe are heavily inspired by real local coffee shops. There are two must-visit "Jun-kissa" (classic Japanese pure coffee shops) you should check out!
1. Kissa L (Cafe L)
The exterior and the narrow alley leading to it look incredibly similar to Reze's cafe.

2. Cafe Trois Bagues (A Hidden Gem You Must Visit in Person!)
Another strong candidate for the inspiration behind Cafe Nidou is Cafe Trois Bagues. Interestingly, because it is located underground, you won't be able to find its storefront on Google Street View (even with the 2022 updates!).
Since you can't fully explore it online, this is exactly why you need to visit it in person! Stepping down the mysterious stairs into this dimly lit, retro cafe is a special experience you can only get by traveling to Tokyo. It genuinely feels like Reze might just be inside waiting to serve you coffee!
